A man parked his pickup truck next to another truck he owns in front of his father’s property.
Police approached, handcuffed him, and searched both him and his vehicles without probable cause.
End result: He was released with the explanation that “people have been stealing catalytic converters,” which does not provide probable cause for their actions.
