LAPD Takes Pictures of Tattoos W/out Consent

A car was pulled over, and three occupants were removed and searched, along with the vehicle. Police claimed this was due to suspicions that one female occupant was on parole, which was untrue.

Before releasing them, officers told the man to remove clothing to reveal his tattoos and took photos, actions that violated LAPD policy. A complaint was filed for:

  • Biased Policing
  • Illegal Searches
