Complainant asked LAPD Hollywood officer Dean Thompson to properly identify himself.
Rather than identifying himself, Officer Thompson walked away.
This is a violation of LAPD policy, which requires all LAPD personnel to present their official LAPD identification when a community member requests their name, serial number, or other identifying information.
