The incident occurred during a movie night organized by the Harbor City Council and the LAPD. Officers arrived on the scene and began to confront several young attendees, resulting in the detention of one individual.
A young man who had been assisting the LAPD at the event witnessed the officers detaining another person and started filming the interaction. In response, an officer repeatedly reached for the subject’s phone multiple times before taking him to the ground.
Afterwards, the officer ended up arresting the teen for resisting arrest.
