Cops Handcuff Teens on Foot, Then Pull Them Over & Handcuff Again

Two men were stopped twice by the same police officers within a short period. First, while walking to a food truck, they were stopped, handcuffed, searched, and then released without a ticket after being suspected of smoking weed (which they weren’t). When they returned to their car, the same officers pulled them over again for tinted windows, ordered them out, handcuffed them, searched them and the car, and issued a ticket.

Complaints were filed for:

  • Biased policing
  • Illegal searches.
