OIG Shields LAPD Chief Moore from Accountability

I questioned Florence Yu from the Office of the Inspector General (OIG) about several unresolved complaints related to the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD). Highlighted issues include officer misconduct, improperly adjudicated complaints, and a lack of accountability at various levels, including Chief Moore.

I make clear my disatisfaction with the OIG’s findings that complaints against Chief Moore were “unfounded” despite clear evidence of supervisory failures on his part. It is clear the OIG prioritizes LAPD interests over public accountability.
