Sergeant Khanh Pham killed a misconduct investigation without properly reviewing body-worn video that proved misconduct took place.
Instead of treating the complaint as a serious unlawful-search allegation, the intake paperwork classified the case as Non-Disciplinary / Demonstrably False, stated that officers acted lawfully, and even said “No interviews required due to BWV.”
That proved to be wrong.
Later review found that Officer Sportiello improperly searched the vehicle, and that allegation was ultimately Sustained.
